Aveuris LegacyCare is an intelligent mortuary and decedent management workspace designed to support respectful, traceable and well-coordinated care from intake through storage, custody, documentation, postmortem activity, family viewing and final release. It brings operational and identification workflows together in one secure record so every movement and decision can be clearly accounted for.

LegacyCare supports structured decedent intake with verified identity details, automatically generated body tags, condition-on-arrival documentation and valuables recording. Cases can be assigned to storage locations while the system tracks cold-room capacity, occupancy and operational status to help teams avoid over-allocation and maintain better control of available space.

Storage monitoring includes temperature logging with normal, warning and critical status visibility, helping mortuary teams identify conditions that require attention. Transfers between locations are recorded through a detailed chain-of-custody workflow that can capture source and destination, custodians, seals, witnesses and supporting notes so movement history remains auditable.

LegacyCare also supports case documents, verification workflows, family viewing scheduling, postmortem activity and sample tracking. These records remain linked to the same decedent case, reducing fragmented documentation and giving authorized staff a clearer operational picture throughout the case lifecycle.

Before release, LegacyCare uses a release-readiness workflow to confirm that required documentation and case conditions are complete. Cases on hold or missing required steps can be prevented from release, helping teams maintain stronger control, accountability and continuity from intake to final handover.
